A robust 4K sensor with over 13 stops of dynamic range has distinguished the RED ONE as an ideal counterpart to 35mm film. With over 5x the detail of HD, the RED ONE has antiquated what was once cutting-edge, setting technical benchmarks and establishing new standards in digital cinema. High-resolution RAW files provide editors, colorists, and VFX artists with a large, flexible palette – making it easier to composite, grade, and finish for theatrical distribution. Preset Your Look.  Before You Shoot.

The RED ONE features the capability to import and export looks, letting you and your client preview a color grade on set before ever pressing record. Define your perfect looks using REDCINE-X PRO software and transfer them between your RED ONE and computer using an SD card. If you want to change the look you’ve created, simply adjust the metadata in-camera or on REDCINE-X PRO.

RAW  Evolution

Unlike common HD RGB files, REDCODE RAW grants you the freedom to define and color grade your image - without compromising quality. REDCODE metadata preserves a non-destructive environment, letting you manipulate and grade your image without tarnishing your original footage. If you want to adjust your color temperature or gamma settings, simply bring your RAW files into REDCINE-X PRO to fine-tune and polish your look for export. With the flexibility to correct and adjust metadata in post, REDCODE RAW offers you the assurance that you’ll always end up with the look you want.
